Only downside is that it seems to only provide a single TimeMachine endpoint. I been using this as a stable NAS for TimeMachine backups on my Mac network. I was able to format my drives as a RAID-1, set up some shares and permissions, mostly straightforward. Selling points for me were "RAID1" and "hot-swappable" drive bays, Apple TimeMachine support, Gigabit Ethernet, and - I'll admit it - it looks cool. I purchased this, and two Seagate Ironwolf 8TB drives, to replace an aging problematic NAS.
